CONTRACT FOR THE REPAIR AND RESTORATION WORKS OF QUEENS HALL IN WELLINGBOROUGH
The Council is seeking suitably experienced and skilled contractors to undertake repairs and restoration to the external structure and roof structures of the Queens Hall and internal refurbishment and redecoration at Queens Hall, High Street, Wellingborough, as part of the Council's Townscape Heritage Initiative.
The works include but are not limited to: a) Brickwork and stone repairs to match existing. b) Overhaul roof to replace damaged roof tiles, lift and re-set all ridge tiles. c) Replace all UPVC rainwater goods with new cast iron. d) Window and door repairs, including replacement of rotten timbers, replacement of doors to specification, ease sash and casement windows. e) Lime plaster repairs f) Painting (including detail painting) of brickwork, stonework, woodwork and internal finishes
