The brief

1291/291/LD/N/15 High Definition Laser Scanning Microscope The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders on behalf of the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham.

Scope: As part of the equipment strategy a requirement for a 3D Laser Scanning Microscope with sub-micron resolution and surface topology measurement capability has been identified.

The Laser microscope will be used to measure components and test pieces manufactured during our research activities.

This specification is aimed at purchasing a single Laser Scanning Microscope for use in the laboratory in research applications.

It is expected that suppliers will provide long term support for the equipment including application engineering, programming and software upgrades.
