Department for Work and Pensions
Unity Legacy Migration
This sits in the lower-middle of the IT Services band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 36,449 valued IT Services tenders in our corpus.
The Unity programme involves the TUPE transfer of BPDTS employees into DWP Digital.
As part of this we need solutions to allow the extract, transfer and loading of all BPDTS data to meet the transfer date of 30th June.
Live HR/payroll data will be put into a Shared Operating Platform (SOP) which is used by our Shared Service Supplier SSCL.
However, the historic data for circa 400 past BPDTS employees will also need to be housed in a data archive.
Currently, DWP legacy data is archived within a system (FAMIS-R) that comprises several databases.
This is currently accessed by the Shared Service Supplier (SSCL) to answer individual, departmental or potential audit queries.
The existing archive route and environments will be utilised for this archiving piece of work.
