Building Refurbishment Works at The Control Tower Greenham Common Greenham West Berkshire RG19 8DB

Place Partnership Limited is seeking a Provider on behalf of Greenham Parish Council in Berkshire with the appropriate experience and competitive pricing to carry out Building Refurbishment Works at The Control Tower, Greenham Common, Burys Bank Road, Greenham, Thatcham, West Berkshire RG19 8DB The works will include but not limited to, decorations, new floor finishes, ceiling finishes, joinery, new toilet sanitary-ware, cubicle systems, associated drainage works and electrical and mechanical services.

There will be a requirement for external works which will include landscaping the immediate area, external decorations and provision of accessible ramps and steps.

The control tower at Greenham Common is a listed building and is to be refurbished in order to open it up to members of the public as a visitor attraction.

The accommodation will include a café, visitor attractions as well as ancillary accommodation for the day to day function of the premises.

A previous contract had been undertaken which had included refurbishment work, electrical and mechanical works.

This has been left incomplete.

Therefore the purpose of this contract is to complete all the outstanding works which had already commenced.

It is essential that prior to the submission of a tender a site visit is carried out.

No additional costs will be entertained for want of information in this respect.

The Contractor will be responsible for site measurements.

An open day will be set aside for potential contractors to visit the site in order to carry this out.

Open Day for Contractors to visit site during the tender period will be Wednesday 11th October 2017 - 10am to 4pm It is on this basis that we invite suitable contractors to provide a full turn-key project compliant quotation, to deliver this project within set time scales.

All tender documents must be uploaded to the portal by the due date as late returns will not be accepted.

Tenders and supporting documents shall be in English and any contract subsequently entered in to shall be subject to English Law.

Please note that the Supplier is responsible for obtaining all information necessary for the preparation of the tender submission.

All cost, expenses and liabilities incurred by the Supplier in connection with the preparation of their submission, the Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule shall be borne by the Supplier.
