The brief

Bury Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider for: The Provision of an IT Platform, Directory of Services Website (The Bury Directory - TBD) CURRENT PROVISION The Bury Directory (TBD) was initially developed in 2014 but the last two years especially, it has grown and developed into much more than a directory.

It contains health and social care support, in addition to community assets, statutory services and organisations, community groups, projects, events, activities, apps, advice and information- all of which reflect the wealth of assets that are available to the people who live, work, study in the borough of Bury.

The connection between intelligence and assets has also been strengthened by the incorporation of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) channel.

A SEND channel, Care Leavers Channel have been developed and going forward a NHS, Carers and Local Business channels are being developed, alongside a Quality of Life Conversational Tool which will enable a referral to go through to the social prescribing team irrespective of being completed by the individual or during a supported conversation.

The idea being, that all the information required for the people of Bury is in one platform.

People can be signposted and or referred to other Bury Services or groups effectively by professionals and or individually with a consistency of approach.

SCOPE Bury Council require to continue with an IT platform, Directory of Services website (The Bury Directory (TBD) that meets the requirement of both the Care Act and Families Act including SEND Local Offer.

TBD website needs to ensures that all information is standardised across the whole of Bury and provides an authoritative online source of information, advice and guidance (IAG) relating to signposting of health and social care services, VCFA services, social groups, wellbeing activities and events and Bury businesses.

The website will provide professionals and customers, patients and the wider members of the public with information to support signposting across the full range of services in the locality and be able to have access at the right time and in the right way.

Care workers will also be able to use the site to access professional guidance.

Third parties will be able to contribute their own content subject to appropriate checks.
