The University of Cumbria is inviting Tenders for the purpose of procuring insurances services as detailed in Section 4 of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) .This procurement will be conducted in accordance the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and with an estimated value above the threshold for a public service contract.
Please note that this insurance tender is being run though the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework Agreement Version II (RM3731).

Each Tenderer's response (Tender) should be detailed enough to allow the Client to make an informed selection of the most appropriate solution.
Cover will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous terms to the Client, with criteria such as price, provision of required cover, claims handling, value added service and experience of underwriting and servicing Client risks within Public Sector all being considered.
Details of the structure of the contract award criteria are given in Section Two - Contract Award Criteria, with each Lot containing its specific Award Criterion.
The Client proposes to enter into one or more Contract(s) for a period of 3 years (with the option to extend for two further periods of one year) with the successful Tenderer(s) (Supplier).
The service commencement date is 1st August 2019.
The Services have been divided into work packages (Lots) and Tenderers are invited to bid for all or any of the following Lots: Lot 1: Property Combined Lot 2: Computer Lot 3 Combined Liability Lot 4: Excess Public Liability Lot 5: Professional Indemnity Lot 6: Director's & Officers Liability Lot 7: Crime Lot 8: Motor Lot 9: Personal Accident and Travel Lot 10: Combined Engineering Lot 11: Contract Works
