The brief

To deliver the requirements set out in the specification for the delivery of a Positive Behaviour Support service for children and young people (CYP) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or moderate to severe Learning Disabilities (LD) within the borough of Hounslow.

As an integrated care partnership, the Authority and wider health and care partners across the system want to ensure that all children with ASD/ LD in Hounslow are able to achieve excellent outcomes and reach their full potential, ideally thriving in the communities in which they live and interact.

We want CYP in Hounslow with ASD/LD to transition into adulthood independently wherever possible, with sufficient resilience and system support to allow them to achieve their chosen outcomes.

As part of our ongoing strategic plan, the Authority wishes to create a dynamic behaviour support service that is able to appropriately manage the needs of CYP with ASD/LD and to sustainably keep at-risk CYP with ASD/LD from being hospitalised or placed into residential care.
