2623/488/MY/NAMRC/20 3D Printed Electronics System (3DPES) The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a 3D Printed Electronics System (3DPES) on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Nuclear Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement The Nuclear AMRC (NAMRC) Digital Controls and Instrumentation Group have a need to develop a capability for rapid prototyping of electronic device designs.

Developing this capability will support the strategic aim of the NAMRC to provide a world class agile digital product prototyping service and demonstrate to industry the opportunities for integrated agile digital product design in electronics.

The technology identified to support this agile prototyping of complex electronic device designs is 3D Printed Electronics prototyping System (3DPES).

This equipment shall provide a self-contained standalone capability demonstrating additively manufactured prototyping of Printed Electronics with highly complex 3D circuits.
