The brief

Connect Derby is Derby City Council's (DCC) £30m managed workspace (MW) project that is funded by various funding partners, predominantly by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Connect Derby has created seven highly flexible workspaces in the city which have been purposely designed to accommodate the needs of micro businesses, single entrepreneurs and social enterprises through to SME's.

The aims of the Contract are to: • Maintain the current Connect Derby brand and buildings as the primary managed workspace in the City of Derby; • To identify opportunities to maintain and increase occupancy levels • To establish a marketing strategy and action plan for the new grow on space (this work is not guaranteed and is subject to budget availability) • To undertake feasibility and option analysis on the office marketing and regeneration developmental opportunities within the city (this work is not guaranteed and is subject to budget availability) The successful tenderer should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Derby property market and the general economics of the City.
