Cliff Cottage Culvert (A170) Maintenance 2019

Eastern (Cliffe Cottage) culvert - Grout under 4no parapet bases.

Saw cut, clean and repair appox 250 x 150 mm damaged concrete from culvert inlet face.

Clean & repair approx 300 x 300mm section of damaged concrete from culvert interior wall.

Rake out, clean & fill 5x small holes on culvert inlet face.

Clear and remove vegetation from downstream end wingwalls to a distance not less than 1.5m out from structure.

Clear off and remove vegetation & debris from verges.

Remove previously tipped branches & cuttings.

Sinnington Seven bridge - remove grass, soil and vegetation growing on both verges.

Hand cut and remove vegetation growing over service pipe on downstream side of bridge.

Remove vegetation from embankments to a point not less than1.5m out from structure on both sides of the bridge.

Western culvert - Repair damaged rail ends of parapet on both sides of the carriageway.

Clear away and remove vegetation & debris from both verges.

Cut back growth on embankments to 1.5m out from structure.

Remove soil, vegetation and debris from culvert inverts.

All waste arising from works to be disposed of correctly off site.
