When this comes round again

Arts Council England publishes Business Services work continuously — 44 notices, roughly one every 12 days. This is a stream to watch, not a cycle to wait for.

18% of Arts Council England’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The commissioning of a national bespoke survey of cultural and creative engagement and participation among children and young people aged from 0-16 in England, providing a robust sample at a lower geographic level than previously available.

The intention is for this survey to be undertaken triennially, conducted multiple times over the lifetime of the Arts Council England's "Let’s Create" strategy and tracking change over time.

We are currently gauging interest for delivering the first iteration of this survey only.

We do not have a specific approach in mind and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with suppliers experienced in delivering surveys of a similar scale, via some market engagement meetings to be held in May 2023.

If you are interested in attending one of the market engagement meetings please forward some brief information (max 2 sides of A4) about your organisation and your experience of running similar surveys to procurement.services@artscouncil.org.uk .

Please put "CYP Survey" in the email title.
