Local Enhanced Services are primarily focused on improving the health of patients with complex needs and long term conditions but also includes improvements in immunisations and vaccinations coverage, health checks and other areas of health care.
The proposal is for these to be contracted with the Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, which is a GP federation whose members comprise all 37 GP practices in Tower Hamlets.
This contractual change will reduce the transactional burden on both the CCG and GP practices.
