The brief

Essex Police (EP) and the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex (OPCC) sought an Academic Partner to undertake evidence based research on selected subjects to support the strategic aims of the Police and Crime Plan, Plan on a Page and the College of Policing, over the next 3 years.

The Police and Crime Plan 2016-2020 provides clarity on the PCC's policing priorities; which sets a high level focus for the Chief Constable's Plan on a Page.

The Force Plan on a Page sets out the operational and organisational priorities for Essex Police in order to deliver the best possible service that promotes victim satisfaction and public confidence.

Academic Research Reports, for 3 years, first of which is due 2018/2019 and subsequently thereafter (depending upon funding and requirement), 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 until 31st March 2021 for Essex Police.
