The Marches & Gloucestershire Business Broadband Grant Scheme (MGBG) is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded project that has operated across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin since March 2017.
At present it is due to complete in December 2019 but it may be extended by a further 6 months.
The scheme provides capital grants to qualifying SME's that fall outside of the reach of superfast broadband following the interventions of Fastershire, Connecting Shropshire and Superfast Telford.
Grants are used to procure bespoke broadband solutions.
The partners are seeking the services of an appropriately qualified consultant to undertake a Summative Assessment of the project as required by Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government.
