672 - Grant Audit Services
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Business Services band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 57,319 valued Business Services tenders in our corpus.
The CPI Group (CPI) requires a supplier to undertake financial grant 'desk-top' audits in line with any statutory or contractual requirement on the following types of grant claims: • Innovate UK (e.g.
Competitive R&D projects) • Catapult funding also from Innovate UK but via the High Value Manufacturing Catapult • Horizon 2020 • Regional Growth Fund • Local Growth Fund • Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Investment (AMSCI) • European Social Fund (ESF) • European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) • Any other grant claim audits as directed by CPI (e.g.
BEIS) Due to the complexity of these programmes it is essential that bidders have experience of providing grant audit services for at least three (3) of the programmes listed above and a good understanding of the other funding streams and their requirements.
The successful bidder will be expected to comply with the contractual requirements of the specific funding body and this may include the use of predefined template letters, reports etc.
Failure to abide by the funding body's contractual requirements or any statutory requirements may result in the termination of this contract.
CPI requires a supplier who is able to undertake and turn around these audits in a prompt manner and sometimes at short notice.
CPI will however endeavour to provide as much notice as possible and agree in advance with the successful bidder a timetable for expected audits.
