Coventry has a long standing commitment to tackling domestic abuse and is a diverse city with varying levels of need across different communities.

The Council's approach is informed by periodic Needs Assessments, analysis of emerging trends, best practice evidence, and alignment with local, regional, and national priorities.

The Council's current Domestic Abuse Strategy (2018-2025) is available online and is now due for review through a comprehensive refresh supported by a new Needs Assessment and revised implementation plan.

Since February 2010, Coventry; Solihull; Warwickshire; Nuneaton and Bedworth; Rugby alongside other local district Councils have been working together as a shared procurement service.
