DHSC:ASC: RFI Adult Social Workforce Reform - Qualifications Design

The Authority may require a Supplier or multiple Suppliers to develop new qualification framework specifications for the ASC Sector.

The main output will be specifications that awarding bodies can work from in developing their own versions of qualifications.

This requirement is currently at the pre-tender stage, the purpose of which is to engage service providers providing an opportunity to: - 1.

Get a clear understanding of what business outcomes the Authority requires and ask questions regarding the proposed scope of work.

Notify the market and encourage market participation in the pre-market engagement activities that will take place in the development of this project 3.

Notify the market of the intended procurement route, to provide potential suppliers the opportunity to join the relevant CCS framework (CCS DPS RM6219 Learning and Training Services).

This requirement focuses on two new qualifications that we want to bring forward for the workforce: Care Certificate qualification - based on existing 15 standards at Level 2 Digital Skills - a new Level 5 leadership award based on the Digital Skills Framework A partner will develop specifications for the two qualifications above, working closely with the care sector and training and qualifications sectors.
