Visitor numbers have greatly increased since the existing supply was installed, and this project will also ensure spare capacity for future projects.
Works will include but is not limited to – • Laying larger incoming water main • Reconfiguration of existing water supply network on the Park • Removal of redundant pipework • Installation of additional outlet points/features • Liaising with Statutory Undertaker to ensure work completed complies with relevant legislation Works must start after the closure of the Splash Park, during the first 2 weeks of September, exact date to be confirmed, and must be completed no later than 27 November 2015.
