Bury Council is seeking to appoint an independent, impartial and confidential disagreement resolution service for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) for children, their parents and young people up to the age of 25 to resolve disagreements about any aspect of SEN provision, and health and social care disagreements during the processes related to the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and EHC Plans.
Mediation linked to either matters which can be appealed to the First Tier Tribunal (SEND) and/or the health and social care elements of an EHC Plan.
