The brief

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from main Contractors wishing to pre-register to tender for the proposed contract for replacement glazed cladding at the Castledown Business Centre for Wiltshire Council at Castledown Business Park, Ludgershall, Wiltshire SP11 9FA (near Andover).

The project has arisen due to the failure of the original glazed cladding system to the Innovation Suite.

The brief is to replace the failed glazed cladding, making good all disturbed finishes to enable the Business Centre to use it as it was originally intended.

The remaining Business Centre will be fully occupied for the duration of the works.

The forecast construction cost is £265,000 with circa two thirds of the cost being the specialist replacement glazing system.

Wiltshire Council require the works to be completed as soon as possible and with this in mind the intent is that tenders will be sent on 4th July to the firms that register an interest for this opportunity with the requirement that tenders are returned not later than 12:00 noon on 22nd July 2016.

An outline of the works required is: 1.
