Department for Work and Pensions
Adaptive Data Enablement, Deloitte
This is a large award for IT Services — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 36,449 valued IT Services tenders in our corpus.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) aim to maximise our use of data-sharing, wherever it is an appropriate means to achieve the goals of the department and wider public sector.
This year, the DWP setup a dedicated Office of the Chief Data Officer ("OoCDO").
The OoCDO with its central data governance role and data sharing advisors was setup to mitigate risks associated with data sharing by putting robust standards, governance and processes around GDPR and the setting up data sharing agreements.
The ADE (Adaptive Data Enablement) project will bring in a partner with data governance expertise in large complex organisations to help with the implementation of the OoCDO.
