UKRI-2085 Analytical Laboratory Services for the Detection, Measurement and Reporting of Radioactivity Levels
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This is a large award for Engineering & Architecture — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 33,646 valued Engineering & Architecture tenders in our corpus.
UKRI-STFC requires an independent accredited laboratory to carry out destructive analysis for a range of radionuclides and gamma spectrometry on smaller sub samples which require a lower Minimal Detectable Amount (MDA).
Most of the samples will require analysis by gamma spectroscopy with some destructive analysis.
Dependent on the sample analysis requests might frequently include 55Fe, 63Ni, 3H, 14C and gross alpha beta.
The samples will have a typical range of activities ranging from samples of out of scope limits to Intermediate Level Wastes (ILW).
