TSDFT262 Fully Managed Vending service

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated organisation providing acute health care services, community health services and adult social care.

The Authority runs Torbay Hospital, a number of community hospitals and health & wellbeing centres The Authority requires a Supplier to enter into a Contract for the Provision of a Fully Managed Vending service for Torbay Hospital and its various community sites within South Devon.

The Contract will be awarded for 5 years, with the option to extend for two 12-month periods The following details provide an overview of our organisation: • We have one acute site with 450 beds • 6500 employees in South Devon • 3 Community hospitals (Newton Abbot not included) • 3 Health & Wellbeing centres (Teignmouth not included) The supplier shall offer vending machines and services including but not limited to the following categories: • Free standing Hot and Cold beverage machines that can dispense either o closed ingredients systems o cartridge and/or capsule systems o Fresh brews options o In -cup systems and chilled water. • Machines that dispense carbonates, bottled and canned drinks • Machines that dispense Confectionery and Snacks • Any other associated products and consumables Be able to offer machines with different payment methods i.e. coins, notes, card, contactless For a fully managed service, the supplier shall offer the following mandatory levels of service: • Machines will be sufficiently stocked so that product does not run out • Machines will be sufficiently maintained so that they do not breakdown. • In the event of a breakdown, machines will be fixed within 24 hours.
