East Riding of Yorkshire Council is facing increased demand on all its services, with population projected to increase to 361,933 by 2039.
The East Riding also has a very high proportion of people (25%) of pensionable age and this is projected to increase to 33% by 2039.
Demand for services is increasing as welfare reforms continue apace; therefore, to ensure that services can meet demand and be sustainable; we need new models of provision.
