The brief

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust currently has a requirement for continuing our established performance monitoring and verification of specialised ventilation systems.

This is in order to comply with health and safety requirements and the Department of Health guidance document Heath Technical Memorandum (HTM) 03-01; Specialised Ventilation for Healthcare Premises: Part B - Operational Management and Performance Verification.

Ventilation systems the subject of this contract are critical to the delivery of healthcare as they play a significant part in reducing the possibility of infection and protect patients and staff from exposure to hazardous substances.

The trust requires effective verification services, ad-hoc work and technical support to ensure the equipment runs satisfactorily, without undue breakdown.

Services as a result of capital schemes and planned upgrades may be required as part of the contract.

If these are required they shall be delivered in accordance with the rates returned as part of this contract.

There is no commitment to spend under this contract, nor guarantee of work or exclusivity.

Contract intended to commence 10 September 2015 For two years, plus potential extensions by a total of four years (in two yearly blocks) subject to satisfactory performance
