When this comes round again

The Arts Council England has published 31 notices across all categories, and 13% of its awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The Arts Council England (ACE) is carrying out Pre-Market Engagement (PME) in relation to the future procurement of website related services for the ArtsJobs and ArtsNews website (http://www.artsjobs.org.uk/).

ACE will consider the feedback received to help inform options and further decision making so that we can understand the market capabilities to inform our technical requirements.

For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process.

Participation or non-participation in the PME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process.

Participation in the PME will be at each organisation's own cost.

No expense in responding to this PME will be reimbursed by ACE.
