The works will need to be carried out within the timescales aligned to the Mid Devon District Council's Services.
Contractors will need to demonstrate their "competency" within the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 meaning for this type of work.
The successful contractor will need to be licensed for this work by the Health and Safety Executive.
The successful contractor will be required to adhere to the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 as a minimum.

The aim is to award the works to a contractor that can carry out asbestos surveys on an ad-hoc basis, provide a collection service for bagged asbestos containing materials and dispose of them correctly; as well as carry out unlicensed asbestos removal and disposal including Notifiable Non-Licensed Work.
The works will need to be carried out within the timescales aligned to the Services provided by Mid Devon.
