The brief

Worcestershire County Council views housing related support, including Extra Care Housing (ECH), as a key component in supporting people to remain at home for as long as possible and the Council wishes to transform the way in which it commissions the delivery of Extra Care to adults in Worcestershire.

The Council has identified the provision of a comprehensive high quality Extra Care which is independence focused as fundamental to achieving this and has therefore decided to seek a Care Provider who is able to deliver this service as well as to continue to provide routine Care.

The shared aim of delivering good quality, sustainable care is achievable through active engagement between the Council and the Provider to develop positive business relationships and deliver an innovative approach to Extra Care which has a focus on regaining and maintaining independence for individuals.

The Council is looking to identify a Service Provider to deliver a Core Service and a Care Service within the Extra Care Scheme, Noble House, based at 1 Oak View Way, Worcester WR2 5FH.

Noble House is an Extra Care Scheme in Worcester with 60 units in total.

One and two bedroom apartments are available, there is a mix of tenancy types from rental to leasehold for private purchase.

The Council has nomination rights for 40 units at Noble House and as of November 2023 there were 20 people who the Council funded within Noble House.
