The brief

TfGM is looking to appoint a contractor to produce and install Bee Network rebranding material at bus shelters and bus stops across Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and parts of North Manchester.

This is Tranche 2 of the bus franchising project.

The requirement is for the supplier to print the vinyls for both the shelters and the stops and then to install these new vinyls on the required locations after first removing the old vinyls that are currently there.

The chosen Supplier must be able to start these works as soon as possible.

The installation side of the works can take place after the March deadline but must be completed by end of January 24 at the latest.

Design print of new vinyls for 3865 bus stop plates and 1390 shelter cases.

Works will involve installation of 2193 plate vinyls only.

The works will include a number of different bus shelter casing types that will need changing - the supplier must print the vinyl to the following size / design and then trim down the vinyl before installation, depending on the type of case that they are working on.

The vinyl print dimensions for the bus shelter casings are 1300m x 870mm with a logo size of 423mm x 470mm.

Shelter cases to be removed vinyled and reinstalled.

Security torque pin equipment will be required to do this but that will be provided by TfGM to the winning Supplier.

Bus stop poles vary between 3m and 4m in height and the bus stop plate that will need vinyling sits at the top of this.

PDF proofs are to be made available to TfGM for review and approval prior to installation along with an in-person presentation of the standard of work in advance of contract award.
