The brief

The Council has undertaken a further competition via the YORcivil3 Framework in line with Public Contract Regulations 2015.

As part of the Dewsbury-Batley-Chidswell TCF programme, the A652 Bradford Road has been identified for significant improvement.

Currently, the corridor suffers from inadequate cycling facilities, low cycling uptake, limited connectivity, and unreliable bus services-further worsened by a lack of real-time travel information at bus stops.
