BSH/CPS/Bridges Consultancy Services - 57031 Brunel Lock Entrance Bridge - Assessment Phase 1 - Information Gathering and Inspection for Assessment
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Repair & Maintenance contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 15,278 valued Repair & Maintenance tenders in our corpus.
Direct Award to WSP under WECA Professional Services Framework \r \r The bridge over Brunel Dam previously had a 3t weight limit.
This bridge was strengthened in\r 2009, as part of the works to Entrance Lock.
However the information of the new weight limit\r is unknown.
A bridge assessment is therefore required.\r Due to a lack of information on the bridge, this will be done over two phases.\r Phase 1 will be to gather and review existing information and undertake a visual inspection for\r assessment to establish if we have sufficient information to assess the bridge without a more\r detailed survey.
