CWF 2B Port of Workington Maintenance - (A) Port Roads
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Construction band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
The project aim is to refurbish two large sections of Port internal roads totalling some 900m in length.
These roads are regularly traversed by heavy port vehicles (axle weights >40T/axle) and have been seen to be degrading and sinking in relation to the surrounding terrain.
The project will see these roads made up to standard with a concrete construction with a considerable life span, also enabling the Port's improvements as a transmodal hub and key logistic and clean energy hub, tying in to the Recent Towns Deal funding announcements.
