The High Street Improvement Scheme Programme (HSIS) is a £1.4m project delivered by Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) as part of the wider Market Towns Regeneration Fund Programme.
HSIS will be delivered in partnership with up to eleven town councils and it will run from September 2016 to March 2018.
It will revitalize our market town high streets by providing a range of physical improvements and local business enhancements.
Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) is seeking a design and build architect to deliver a programme of shop front enhancements (RIBA Stages 0-6), across our market towns.
The contract would begin week commencing 19th September 2016 and end on March 31st 2018; however the High Street Improvement Scheme Programme could be extended for a further 12 months depending upon funding.
The successful architect will have considerable experience of delivering complex shop front improvement schemes.
They must understand the needs and motivations of the independent business sector and have previously designed and installed shop fronts and forecourt improvements for food and drink businesses, convenience stores, hair and beauty services, shops and other services.
Last date for receiving questions on Intend system: Friday 15th August 2016 Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, by the due date via our “in-tend” electronic tendering system.
Tenders must be uploaded via the “My Return” section of the system.
Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered.
Your Tender must be submitted via the In-Tend system by no later than 12:00 noon on 24th August 2016.
Tenders received after that time will be excluded.
