When this comes round again

University of Cumbria publishes Construction work continuously — 41 notices, roughly one every 30 days. This is a stream to watch, not a cycle to wait for.

18% of University of Cumbria’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

As part of the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal together with the Town Deal for Carlisle, funding has been allocated to bring a new purpose to the historic Citadels site in Carlisle through the creation of a new campus for the University of Cumbria ("the University").

The project is being led by the University working with Cumberland Council as a key partner.

The project comprises a mix of the refurbishment of existing heritage buildings, new buildings adjacent, and site-wide public realm improvements and will provide a new headquarters for the University in the heart of the City.
