The brief

Dear Provider, We are inviting you to an online consultation session on 16th July 13:00 till 15:00 to seek your views on the refreshed contract documents for the Overarching Agreement for the provision of Residential and Nursing Care Services within Leeds from 1st October 2024 onwards.

The current contract expires 31st September 2024.

Adults and Health Commissioning have refreshed the contract, updated references and definitions: • Incorporated provider suggestions regarding the Quality Standards into a revised version to support by providers evidence how their service meets the standards. • Updated sections on complaints, safeguarding, information governance, modern day slavery, social value and brokerage.

We are particularly seeking provider views on: • The proposal to review the Quality Premium Payment arrangement in the refreshed contract either by o retaining it only for existing residents already in receipt of the payment but not available for new admissions o Cease it for all residents on the commencement of the new contract. • Providers experiences of current 1-1 care arrangement process for residents with exceptional requirements • Providers experience of brokerage and any suggestions for improvement.

This consultation is not reviewing the pricing or fee structure for the contract, which is reviewed annually.

A separate consultation is planned regarding the provision of equipment into care homes.

Providers will be contacted separately regarding participation.

This will not be completed in time for the start of the contract, therefore we plan to continue with existing arrangements until equipment services consultation is complete which can inform any future contract revisions.

Please indicate if you would be interested in participating in the equipment consultation.

We enclose draft - contract specification, quality standards, quality assurance and complaints process, complaints protocol, nursing guidance.

Previous documents included for comparison.
