The Counter fraud data alliance repository is a mechanism for sharing data between organisations within the private and public sector for the prevention and detection of crime, specifically fraud.
The data that shall be shared is that of subjects that are regarded as having committed fraud against their organisation and be referred to as "known fraudsters".
The system will: Allow members to upload/ provide their data to the CFDA Repository in a prescribed and secure manner, Concatenate multiple source files into a single file for download by members and, Provide management information for the operators.
Overall the purpose of the system is prevention, detection and reduction of fraud.
The CFDA Repository must be delivered by a specified anti-fraud organisation.
