The brief

Procurement of a programme from Skills for Care that will support our adult social care (ASC) providers with recruitment and retention in County Durham.

The programme will support 14 ASC providers identified by AHS Commissioning and will provide innovative wrap around place-based programme supporting social care organisations to find and keep the right people with the right values.

It has four distinct but complementary elements including: interactive workshops, data science solutions specific to individual organisations and focused sector specialist one to one contact to support implementation and sustain practice.

This also includes a one-day collaborative workshop with relevant Integrated Care System or Local Authority workforce leads.

The work is intended to complement the roll out of the Care Academy recruitment website due to go live in the autumn and as such needs to commence when the roll out start in June 2022.

This is a single supplier negotiation as it is a bespoke course developed by Skills for Care.
