In April 2022, the Authority in-housed its waste service and therefore now operates and manages 21 Recycling Centres for Household Waste (RCHW) and 4 Waste Transfer Stations (WTS) across the County of Essex.

The Authority have undertaken a framework call-off process from the Procurement Services Framework Y23057 (Lot 2: Purchase of Plant Machinery).
