The brief

NHS England and Improvement is seeking a partner to develop an implementation pack to support the Decision Support Tools (DSTs) Standards Framework which was published 17th June by NICE on behalf of NHSE&I.

There is a need to support national and local DST developers with practical implementation guidance to support the use of this NICE framework.

The successful organisation must have a significant track record in developing evidence-based implementation guidelines within healthcare, demonstrate how it has used evidence based implementation methodologies, provide robust evidence that local healthcare systems have implemented their guidelines, frameworks and implementation packs and be able to demonstrate the impact of these.

The successful organisation must be able to demonstrate how the implementation pack will align seamlessly and be appended to the NICE Decision Support Tools (DSTs) Standards Framework both in terms of content and branding.

The implementation pack will support national and local Decision Support Tools (DSTs) developers with practical implementation guidance to support their use of the framework, to optimise Shared Decision Making conversations and should: • Be aimed at anyone within the health and care system who wishes to develop a DST using the NICE standards framework • Be user friendly • Ensure that implementing the framework is not seen as cumbersome • Include good practice examples and how to identify potential challenges and solutions to implementation to ensure that is simple and effective Suppliers should register their interest at https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
