The Dementia Specialist Advice Service will act as a single point for questions and advice, from professionals, for professionals, about all things dementia generally and in the local area, but shall not offer clinical advice (the service will signpost to the Memory Service or otherwise as appropriate), but will offer advice for organising multi-disciplinary reviews if a crisis point is reached.
Training for professionals on the common themes being experienced by the service will also be provided.
This service is not for direct contact with people living with dementia.
