Harlow Council is seeking to commission a contractor to design, build, install a series of 16 Information "Heritage Boards" in various locations across Harlow.14 heritage boards were installed throughout Harlow in around 2011.
They were placed at significant locations including green spaces, residential estates and shopping areas.
The purpose of the boards was to highlight Harlow's local history and heritage, providing the public and visitors with historical information on specific parts of the town.
Each board contained different information pertaining to the history of that area, all included an image, short amount of text, web links and the Harlow Council logo.Since 2011 several of these boards fell into disrepair and were either removed or went missing.
