The brief

There is a need to support business directly & facilitate the co-ordination of offers of support from local businesses and the requirements of the community to ensure that any support offered is used in the most efficient & effective manner.

Blackpool Council (BC) wishes to appoint a Contractor/s who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements & who offers the most economically advantageous tender within the budget allocated.

Anticipated contract term is from Jan 2023 to end March 2025 at the latest.

Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) BC UKSPF submission was submitted early August 2022 approval is expected mid-November 2022.

IMPORTANT Bidders note the decision date, contract award is subject to successful allocation of grant funding.

The Investment Plan for the UKSPF when confirmed is over a 3 financial year period, 2022/23 to 2024/25, all interventions due to end by March 2025.

The successful applicant will be required to enter into a Grant Agreement with BC which will include all requirements to meet with the funder's requirements & those of the accountable body, Blackpool Council.
