When this comes round again

31% of DHSC, London’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is seeking early market engagement in preparation for procuring a contract to deliver a research and draft report on the barriers and opportunities for Addiction Treatment Research in the Criminal Justice System.

This is not a call for competition, but an opportunity to gather feedback to better understand market capabilities, refine the procurement strategy, and encourage supplier engagement.

Interested parties can access the relevant documents via the Atamis system at https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome using the contract reference.

Suppliers may also submit the completed questionnaire through Atamis but must be registered on the system to do so.

Alternatively, questionnaires can be submitted by email to ccsinbox@dhsc.gov.uk, quoting “AHG: Conducting Addiction Research within the Criminal Justice System” no later than 23/06/2025 5pm.
