This Closed Circuit Television programme has been designed for participants who have already successfully completed an SIA course and hold the required certificate/badge.
The successful completion of this programme will provide them with the qualifications required to work in the Security industry.
The Service provider must deliver a structured course that will prepare participants for the CCTV Operative exam, so that they have a reasonable opportunity of successfully completing and gaining the CCTV operatives licence.
Training should take place over 4 days from 9am - 5:30pm and should cover amongst other topics: o Roles and responsibilities of CCTV operatives o Codes of Practice o Use of CCTV equipment o Health and safety A written plan should provide to participants to support their understanding of what is required from them during an intervention.
The Service provider to guarantee interviews for live opportunities within the sector.
Feedback to be provided by the interviewer to the participant.
The Service provider should support participants to apply for CCTV Certificate/Badge.
Travel and lunch costs should be provided for the those assigned places at the Service Providers designated place of delivery.
In addition, travel costs to work placements and or interviews should be included where appropriate.
