The brief

Introduction The Isle of Wight Council is seeking a suitable provider of e-books and e-audio for the Library Service for an initial term of 3 years, with an option to extend for up to another 12 months.

The service provider must offer a single customer interface for both e-books and e-audio, as well as having a web interface and an app available to users which can link to the existing Civica Spydus Library Management System.

The service provider's solution is required to have a fully integrated office function for multiple staff users; this allows selection and review of stock, reporting and marketing.

The solution will be required to offer a wide variety of stock in both e-book and e-audio formats from a variety of publishers and across all popular genres, including children's, adult and teen materials.

It should also offer stock in standard formats, including e-pub for books and mp3, which are readable on all popular e-readers and devices.
