Request for Information (RFI) for Northeast Essex General Practice Support Service

This is a Request for Information (RFI) published on behalf of NHS North East Essex Health and Wellbeing Alliance within Suffolk and Northeast Essex Integrated Care Board.

With this RFI North East Essex Health and Wellbeing Alliance is seeking to learn the level of possible interest from organisations in relation to providing a support service to General Practice (GMS/PMS and APMS) providers across NEE.

The same information will be gathered from different organisations to inform our service model and future procurement plan.

The Alliance is seeking to commission a high quality, timely and accessible service supporting General Practice teams and workforce to make improvements to operational service delivery and management of demand and capacity to deliver improved patient and workforce outcomes in line with the national aspirations of the Fuller Report and Delivery Plan for Recovering Access to Primary Care.

The successful provider will work in partnership with Practices and the ICB both reactively (following identification of need through the established SNEE General Practice Assurance Framework) and proactively (upon the request of Practice teams) to deliver quality improvement within General Practice, and will have access to individuals with extensive hands on lived experience in General Practice management and clinical service delivery to facilitate delivery of agreed priorities and improvement project to achieve desired outcomes.

The Provider will provide this service face to face at the point of General Practice service delivery with Practice premises in Northeast Essex.

The Provider will provide, have input in the develop of or have access to resources and training programmes where identified as appropriate to assist in the delivery of desired outcomes.

The Provider will have an awareness of and established relationships with key stakeholders across NEE supporting delivery of General Practice to enable collaborative working with others as necessary toward the successful delivery of outcomes identified.
