The purpose of this specification is to enable High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council (working as a Strategic Alliance) to commission a service provider(s) to deliver an Employability and Skills programme as part of our UK Shared Prosperity Funding across both the Staffordshire Moorlands and High Peak local authority areas in 2024/25.

The objectives of the UKSPF are: • Boost productivity, pay, jobs and living standards by growing the private sector, especially in those places where they are lagging. • Spread opportunities and improve public services, especially in those places where they are weakest. • Restore a sense of community, local pride and belonging, especially in those places where they have been lost. • Empower local leaders and communities, especially in those places lacking local agency.
