Situated in Blackpool, Layton Primary School is a mixed non-denominational primary school catering for approximately 600 children within the age range 4 years and 0 months to 11 years 10 months.
There are 3 classes in each year group in school.
The aims of the school: - To provide a safe, secure yet stimulating environment for the purpose of promoting all children's learning. - To provide an atmosphere in which every child will experience mutual respect, consideration and care. - To provide a wide range of experiences for children through which they will acquire knowledge and develop skills which can be applied both now and in later life; to foster positive attitudes towards work and leisure. - To provide an education (academic, social, physical and spiritual) suited to the needs of each individual child, in the context of his/her ethnic and linguistic background.
The school is fairly modern and, having managed its own cleaning services for a number of years, is now looking to outsource this provision in order to ensure that the cleaning service is managed by experts in the field so ensuring that the most up-to-date cleaning methods are implemented and the greatest efficiency achieved from the service whilst delivering the high standards expected by this school.
The contract will commence in September 2018 for 3 years.
The contract value is approximately 180 000 GBP.
