National Highways require a Mobile Visitor Centre (MVC) to support public consultation with local communities, businesses and support groups and to use at events to provide information about proposed works in the surrounding areas.
It will also be used to provide more general information about RIP/HE and as a community focal point to respond to queries and provide immediate customer engagement. - The MVC will be utilised across a wide range of venues, e.g. shopping centres, town squares, private car parks. - The MVC will provide a wider demographic reach than our existing public consultation channels allowing us to go directly into communities and to have higher visibility which will give us a better sample of representative opinion. - The MCV will be used as and when required to highlight schemes or aspects of schemes (e.g. environmental impacts).
The MCV must be provided by the supplier and be available for use immediately.
Build and supply of 3.5tonne, 4.9m body.
