The brief

Halton Housing (HH) is no ordinary Housing Association.

Established in 2005 we have experienced tremendous success.

We own and manage over 7,000 homes across Runcorn and Widnes.

This tender process was conducted in conjunction with Cirrus Purchasing.

Halton Housing (HH) was seeking bids for the procurement of a new company website.

As part of the service, the successful service provider will be required to design and build the new site along with providing ongoing support, hosting and maintenance.

The current website was developed approximately 3 years ago, and since then HH has evolved significantly to meet changing market demands.

Therefore, the primary aim of this tender is to develop a new website to reflect the forward-thinking, innovative ethos of HH.

Some of the key objectives for this contract are as follows: - Provision of an updated, modernised website that is user-friendly and clearly reflects HH's brand - Inclusion of a content management system that will allow HH to manipulate and update a wide range of website content themselves, without the need for external support - Provision of a robust support service that will provide HH with a base for all ongoing support queries, along with a structured process for logging, tracking, and remedying any issues The outcome of the tender process will be a single contract with one service provider.

The contract will be for an initial 3 years, with 2 annual options to extend by a further 12 months on each occasion, up to a maximum 5 years total contract term, subject to HH requirements and the performance of the successful service provider.

The successful service provider is an SME.
